Tiffany Table Lamp Once appeared in “Desperated Wives”
Are you familiar with this Tiffany table lamp? If you have seen “Desperated Wives”, then you are. Lynette saved Mrs MCklaski’s life one morning, and in return Mrs MCklaski sent Lynette her favourite Tiffany table lamp which has the same design as this one that I am going to introduce to you.
It’s an exceptional Hydrangea table lamp from Tiffany Studios, the 16″ diam. Shade is composed of mottled, rippled, water marked and confetti glass – all signature types from Tiffany formed into a bright and lush bough of hydrangea blossoms stemming from branches with hints of a summer sky shining through.
The shade rests on a large size stick base in the original patina, the light sockets with what appears to be the original cap, all metal appurtenances are original with a dimmer switch added to the base at a later time, a fantastic example of one of Tiffany’s most beautiful lamps. Shade signed Tiffany Studios New York 1571, base signed Tiffany Studios New York 531, 26″ overall ht.
