‘Mad Men’ has lasted for three seasons, and at the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards that was concluded the day before yesterday, ‘Mad Men’ got its third ‘Outstanding Drama Series’ with its season 3. So will ‘Mad Men 4′ continue to get the fourth ‘Outstanding Drama Series’? Have a look at the plot first:

Everything has changed for Don Draper. By the end of last season, Draper (Jon Hamm) had found himself divorced by Betty (January Jones) and had joined forces with Roger Sterling (John Slattery) to steal most of Sterling Cooper’s clients and staff out from under the noses of the firm’s new British owner.

Now, a year after the events of last season’s finale, the new Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce agency has succeeded in establishing itself but only to a point – if it loses the swimwear company whose prudish owners don’t like Draper’s racy ad ideas they could be in trouble.

Draper has also become reaccustomed to life as a single man. Yet this new era (post-Kennedy now) demands only more change. The other partners are pushing Draper to become a celebrity by doing newspaper interviews, while Peggy (Elisabeth Moss) goes out on a limb with a publicity stunt that could easily backfire.

Edie died, instead there must be a new housewife making waves. Vanessa Williams, the monster in ‘Ugly Betty’, will come to Wisteria Lane in time. Her every smile could make people tremble with fear. In the season 7 of ‘Desperate Housewives’, Vanessa Williams’s role Renee Filmore will be a regular role who has some relationship with Paul Young. So what will happen on the Wisteria Lane? How do Other desperate housewives who are all beautiful but no kind of power face such a mordern queen. Will Renee Filmore(Vanessa Williams) continue her battle with Lynette(a desperate housewife)?

Kyle Maclachlan(acting as Orson) will leave ‘Desperate Housewives’. That’s really exciting news. I am not only hating Orson, but also don’t like the face of the actor(maybe it is because of his role). Anyway, I’d like to see his leaving. What is more, perfect housewife Bree may have a affair with hot man Keith. And with the joining of Vanessa Williams, there must be more watching focuses…

The most original views of Big Brother has been a decade older. Maybe they havn’t seen Big Brother for many years because of lack of new ideas. But the Ultimate Big Brother features fewer Celebrity Big Brother participants and a better showing of former housemates proper.

Nadia, Brian Dowling, Nikki Graham, Makosi, Coolio, Ulrika Jonsson, John McCririck, ‘Nasty’ Nick Bateman, Chantelle, Preston, and of course BB11 winner Josie might be more guarded than in their original Big Brother days. That is the battle among the strong. I think it will convince its original fans to return.

So who will win? It is really hard to guess as although 11 of them are old faces, obviously they will have new spark when they are with new contestants. The views of Ultimate Big Brother also comprise people of rich ages. You have no new reference data while the old one may be unavailable. Anyway, it could be more wonderful if you have absolutely no idea about the program. So come the show on Friday, 10 September.

Just as I thought, Josie Gibson became the winner of Big Brother 11. She will be joined by 11 former housemates-now we have gotten the list-including Ulrika Jonsson, Brian Dowling, Nick Bateman and Nadia Almada.

Last night is the end of Big Brother but the beginning of ultimate Big Brother. 12 Big Brother watchers will stay in the house for a further two-and-a-half weeks of Ultimate Big Brother, at the end of which one will be voted the most popular contestant from all the 11 series and its celebrity spinoffs on Friday, 10 September.

Last night, the viewing figures were markedly up on last year, nearly 4 million. And a 17.6% audience share over nearly three hours from 8pm. A further 145,000 (0.8%) watched an hour later on Channel 4 +1.

This was well up on last year’s Big Brother final, which averaged 2.6 million (12%) and 2.7 million (16%) across two separate instalments on Friday, 4 September.

In 2008 the series nine final night double bill attracted 3.9 million and 4.7 million. The top-rating final was in 2002, with 5.8 million and 8 million.

Big Brother is watching you. The winner of the final night will be joined by housemates from the past 10 years for two weeks of Ultimate Big Brother. So who will win?

The remaining boys in Big Brother are an odd assortment of dull JJ, creepy Dave and weird Mario, who has spent most of the last week flirting with Andrew, who is dull, creepy and weird. Josie, however, has consistently been funny, self-deprecating and a delight to watch – and is certainly the only one I can see holding her own in a madhouse full of pap-hungry monsters, so she’s my tip to win.

Vanessa Feltz and Makozi, as well as ‘Nasty’ Nick Bateman and even Alex Reid are rumoured to be back for Ultimate Big Brother. Which presumably means we’ll probably get Science, Sezer and that woman from BB5 who screamed all the time. Apparently we might even get to see divorcees Chantelle and Preston reunited, although I’m not holding out for that one.

The starring character in the Fox TV Show ‘King of the Hill’ is Hank Hill. Hank Hill is the best propane salesman in the fictional town Arlen, Texas. He has a opinionated wife, a disappointing son, and an oppressive father. But Hank Hill keeps a level head and a strong sense of morality, which keeps him ‘King of the Hill’.

Hank Hill in ‘King of the Hill’ is a simple man, probably much closer to an American everyman than Homer Simpson. The best propane salesman in Arlen, Texas. Hank Hill is such a straight-up red-stater that he forbids his son Bobby from writing a school project on President Josiah Bartlet from the West Wing – and makes him extol the virtues of Ronald Reagan instead. Yet Hank Hill, the other Hills and their neighbours in ‘King of the Hill’ are no Republican hicks, whatever Hank’s yuppie Laotian neighbours the Souphanousinphones reckon. They’re just straight-up folk.

King of the Hill is another animation hit from Beavis and Butthead creator Mike Judge, who also voices Hank Hill. Hank is often besieged by the idiosyncrasies of society, but he finds some serenity in his home-life with his wife, substitute Spanish teacher Peggy, his awkward son Bobby and his live-in niece-in-law Luanne Platter. Adding flavor to the ordinary dish the series serves are Hank’s friends, divorcee military barber Bill Dauterive, paranoid Dale Gribble (with an obsession with Government conspiracy theories) and gibberish spouting Boomhauer.

It’s a little strange to keep the frame inside of a compact, but it’ll keep the digital frame safe from any crumbs or dust in the bottom of your purse.  Then if you want to sit the frame out to view the pictures you can just open up the mirror and sit it on your desk. It includes an analog clock, digital clock, calender and stop watch functions.

It is normal that you don’t feel secure when hiring a housekeeping service as that is an invasion of privacy, although the time, enery, and peace of mind saved by having a cleaning service is well worth the alternative. However, no matter how, if you have to, pay attention on something below when hiring a housekeeping service:

1 Choose a service that has been referred:  Choosing a cleaning service is like choosing a doctor.  If you are concerned about the safety of your home and belongings, find reputable housekeeping services that have references for you to contact.  Consider asking your neighbors, coworkers, or family members whom they would recommend.  Similarly to a doctor, keep researching until you are comfortable with the information you gather.

2 Interview the service on the phone first: Most cleaning services will come out and walk through your home for a free consultation and estimate of services. Before they get to this step, ask questions over the phone that is important to you.  They should include: *What type of products do they use? Do they change cleaning cloths between homes? *Are they licensed and bonded in case of damage or theft to your home. *How long have they been in business? *What referrals do they have for you to call?

3 Should you hire an individual or service? The pros for hiring an individual is the personalized attention to detail they will offer.  Individuals may offer more services such as folding clothes, and making up beds, beyond the usual cleaning.  The cons of hiring an individual include, if they become ill; there isn’t a back-up team to take their place.  Insurance and bonding amounts may not be as high for an individual.  Therefore if you had an incident in your home, they may not be covered.

The pros of hiring a service is they have a team of service people, so the likelihood of a cancellation is minimal.  A team of people working on your home at once may make them more thorough.  The cons could include, the personalized attention may be reduced, and the time period they spend at each individual home may be less.

4 Walk through your home with the cleaning representative: Once you’ve decided to have the housekeeping service/or individual come to your home, remember these tips as you walk through your home: *Before they arrive, keep your home in the “usual” state it would be in before a cleaning job would have normally been done.  Many people make the mistake of cleaning up the home before the walk through.  This is defeating the purpose because the service will quote you a price based on the amount of work, square footage of home, and how long you need them to stay. The staff will be hired based off of this meeting, and the time estimate will be drastically different than what you really need.

5 Decide if this is right for your family: Go with your instincts when hiring a housekeeping service. Ask questions that will settle your concerns and don’t be afraid to be honest and candid.  Your home, family and belongings should feel safe when in the hands of a housekeeping service.   If you later find yourself despising to clean, and spend more time cleaning than enjoying a quality lifestyle, then a housekeeping service may be for you.  While if you enjoy cleaning, and can’t stand the idea of people in your home as they clean – you probably want to keep your current cleaning regime as is.

Home office is not a place where you store your books and put a learning table, but that in which you can be productive and would like to learn or be immersed. You see these three pictures. Even you don’t have a home office like them, they could still encourage you to clean your table and creat atmosphere of learning. So how to make your little space that you take as home office more beautiful and comfortable?

1 Declutter: Take an inventory of your home office. How much of the contents of your space are used continually? How much of it has been sitting for weeks, months… maybe years?! Before moving on to any other step, declutter. Determine what office supplies you need, for all the others give away, or use in another room in your home – like your kid’s rooms!

2 Clean: This tip is accurate for any room or space you are in. When your environment is clean, so is your mind to be creative and productive. If you have trash, old newspapers, and 100 magazine subscriptions cluttering your desk, clean it up!

3 Prioritize: Figure out what items in your office are used for your activity in the office.  If a television is in your office, but you look at it, more than working than it’s time to remove it.  Kid’s toys and the dog’s brush shouldn’t be in your office space.  When you start using the space for more than its intended use, you will do that activity before you work.

4 Organize: Now that you’ve successfully done the first few tips, it’s time to organize your remaining space. Divide your room into zones. 1 – Storage: Items that can go in a closet, such as office supplies, and rarely used reference materials. 2 – Desk Items: Only the bare necessities, pens/pencils, computer, stapler and tape. Everything else needs a home inside of a desk drawer to prevent a cluttered desk. 3 – Display: For books, and magazines use organizers that go on a bookshelf.  These organizers can group them together, and be reached in a moment. A few pictures and mementos can be used to personalize your space.

5 Light: If your home office is dark, figure out the culprit. Open up windows, buy different window treatments, or bring in lighting fixtures that will brighten your space. When you can see clearly you are more likely to stay in that space. Also make sure there is good ventilation and temperature control. If you are too hot, or cold, you will quickly want to leave your office.

1 Add a rod. Looking for extra storage space in your closet. If you have the type of closet with two walls for hanging clothes, on one wall hang a rod at head height for long clothing (dresses, pants, etc.). On the other wall, hang two rods–one above the other–for shorter clothing (shirts, skirts, blazers, etc.) In other words, you’re not restricted to only one clothing rod.

2 Install shelves. Most shelves can be moved up-a-notch or down-a-notch. If you have three inches of space above your linens, you may consider adjusting the shelf so the shelf below it has more space. Or, perhaps you can add another shelf in between. Plastic, multiple level shelves are wonderful for kitchen cabinets. And corner shelves are great for picture frames, knick knacks and other small treasures.

3 Use storage units. Storage units, which can be picked up from housewares or hardware stores, are great space savers. Your spices can be removed from drawers and placed on a spice rack. There are racks for canned goods that, when a can is taken from it, the next can in line rolls forward. Some of these hold over 40 cans! Ice cube trays are inexpensive storage containers for smaller items such as earrings. There are coffee tables on the market with storage space hidden inside. Under bed containers are perfect for storing quilts and linens. Be creative and make use of these great tools!

4 Don’t forget about wall space. Look around and you’re sure to find quite a bit of empty wall space. There are many uses for this new-found space. Pots and pans can be taken out of cabinets and hung on walls. Tools can be placed on pegboards. Shelves can be installed for picture frames and knick knacks. Many stores now carry corner shelves that can be installed in a snap.

5 Put frequently used items with arms reach. Whenever possible, store regularly used items where you use them most. Recently, my husband created a toilet paper holder on the back of our bathroom cabinet door, with a small dowel, 2 nails and 2 loops of rope. It holds three rolls of toilet paper, and it’s right near the area it’s needed most. You shouldn’t have to walk from one room to another to retrieve items you use every day. Store linens in the bedroom. Store videos near the television. If you use the scissors in the office area and in the sewing room, have two pairs of scissors, one in each room.

6 Add a drawer or sliding shelf. Many hardware and housewares stores carry drawers that can be installed underneath a cabinet. These are great if you have a home with limited drawer space. In addition, you can also install shelves under cabinets that slide out when you need them, and slide back in when you’re finished with them.

7 Keep your desk clear. A clear desk is directly related to your productivity. You will get more done, if you’re not constantly under a pile of papers and files. A sturdy, full-suspension filing cabinet is a must for any home or office. Portable file boxes that hold hanging file folders also come in handy. There are plenty of storage choices for CD-roms and diskettes. Desk supplies belong in an on-the-desk caddy or in trays inside your desk.

8 Rearrange. Everyone is different, and has different needs. Make your home or office work for you. One woman I know told me she never uses her dining room, not even when she has company over. And she had no intention of ever using it since her kitchen was big and elegant enough. She also said she hated her dark basement office. So, I suggested she rearrange a bit, and turn her dining room into her office. And that is exactly what she did. So think about your surroundings and make them work for you, even if they seem a little out of the ordinary.

9 Rotate. You may have many items you love in your home or office, but not enough space. Rotate them. In other words, keep some things in storage for a month or two and display some of your things. Then, once that time is up, make the switch. The items on display go into storage; the items in storage go on display. What a neat idea!
