Come Down to Earth?
There is a joke. Someone got ready to build a house, but he only wanted to live on the second floor. In order to save money that would be cost on the first floor, he said to works, “You don’t need to build the first floor, but directly the second floor.” This is not only a joke but also a story of moral that is we all should come down to earth. But now, I’ll show you a house that is right that person wanted. As you see in the picture, it’s a Billboard House.
The Single House, also nickname the Billboard House, from Poland’s Front Architects, offers modern/crazy domestic living space supported by a central mast. The Single House can then be installed above a variety of ground conditions, from the middle of a meadow to an urban core, lake etc. Reportedly you can also pack the roof with solar panels, or a wind turbine generator to make a fully self sustaining unit. Cool what a weird and unique way to live. Ideas like this are the future.
