It of course will take you some time, but not difficult to do. And the burning wood that electric ovens don’t have could give the food an unique taste. There are six steps for you to learn how to build an outdoor Pizza oven.

Step 1

Decide on the size of your oven. Select an area that will accommodate an oven of that size. Dig a pit that is as wide as you want your oven to be. It should be about 5 inches deep. Line the pit’s sides with wood and fill the hole with concrete. Wait for the concrete to dry.

Step 2

Build the fire encasement. Measure your brick and draw a line on the concrete slab that is brick’s width plus two inches from the perimeter. Line three of these sides with concrete blocks. On the front side of the oven you will want to leave a blank space for the wood door. Now add your bricks to the outside of the concrete blocks. Stack them until they are about 2 feet high, putting mortar between each brick and block.

Step 3

Build a wooden support on the inside of the fire encasement using 2×4s. Include a hole for the door. Lay a piece of cut plywood on top of the support and add another ring of 2×4s to make another concrete slab. Pour the concrete in and wait for it dry.

Step 4

Build up with the bricks to create the area of the oven you will use to bake your food. Leave a door so that you can slide your food in and out of the oven.

Step 5

Make a wooden template of the stone arch you want. Build the dome by laying the bricks sideways in an arch. Begin at the back and take your time as you follow the wood template. Wait for the arch to dry.

Step 6

Finish building the oven by stacking bricks on the outside of the oven, leaving a small bit open for the chimney. Allow everything to dry and you are ready to start baking.

The cups, which features a 90 degree angle rim, was the idea of artist James Laurie. Called ‘Cornered’, only a handful of prototypes have been produced of the glass so far. Laurie explains how the special glass may come in handy to animal lovers, writing on his Web site:

Frustrated with spiders and other insects trapping themselves within a corner of a room making it difficult to catch. To counter this problem a glass was designed with a right-angled rim to correct this issue, cut and shaped accordingly from a tumbler glass. In order to retain the spider, whilst moving the glass away from the wall a folded sheet of paper is slipped between the glass and corner.

I hate but also afraid of those boring bugs. I will not make my hands get close to them, but rather use paster which they can stick to. I find the edge of the cup fits our lips well. Maybe it is a little inappropriate to take it as a conventional cup. But it doesn’t matter to have a try.

Is this droplight beautiful? Yes! But when seeing carefully, you’ll find they are just bowls, and the black lines are electric wires. It is a unique droplight that we may make it by ourself.

Turn on the water and press the power button. And away it went! Someone ever had a try. When it was done (maybe 20 minutes) everything was clean except for the two coffee mugs that had been sitting with coffee for several days. Oh, and there was a little chunk of salsa on the plate that had sat out overnight and dried. If you wanted to test this little guy with some really dirty dishes. It passed. Oh, and there was no water leaking from any part of the machine, so apparently you can do a good job of tightening the hoses. So after dinner and more dirty dishes, I can run it before going to bed. So nice to not have a sink full of dirty dishes!
