The wooden iPad case is not designed for you to take along with your iPad, but a little like a TV cabinet. You can’t buy it in the market, as that is the idea of Jonas Damont who is inspired by the love for fully using old and outdated home appliances.

No single thing of the iPad case is purchased. The material to build it were found lying around in the nooks and crannies of his apartment. The style of the case makes your iPad look like a old-school TV which adds a charming retro touch to the whole thing. The overall look of the case is completed with his use of the screensaver depicting an 50’s grainy television snow. It’s a a truly brilliant tribute to the TV days of yesteryear.

So you can DIY the iPad case with your unused but valuable things that you may neglect. Clean up your house, and you may find something useful.

If it is taken as bracelet, although it is much beautiful, it may hurt your arms because of the sharp edge of beads. Actually it is used as wine glass charm so that you can keep track of who’s who when it comes to identifying each guest’s wine glass.

Material:
Wire Ring (Jewelry Department at Craft Shops)
Beads of Choice
E6000 or Crafter’s Goop Glue

How to Do:
I made several sets of these using different colour beads and different themes. All of the beads used in these charms were purchased at a local dollar store making these very inexpensive. I used ready made wire rings, but you can shape wire to the desired size if you like. These rings have a loop at one end (preventing the beads from falling off) and a cut end.

Decide the order of your beads and begin feeding them onto your wire ring. To secure your beads add a dot of glue to the cut end of wire and slip a final bead over the glue without pushing the bead down the wire. This eliminates the pointed end of wire, prevents your beads from slipping off the wire and adds an additional decorative touch to your charms.

Then it is finished. Much easy, isn’t it? By the way, you also can use any other things you like instead of beads, as long as you can make different styles that could be distinguished from each other.

Homemade cord necklace is always not very gorgeous, but must have your own style, which could easily distinguishes you from the crowd. I like this kind of necklace more than pearl necklace, especially the one with unique olive pattern I introduce to you. You can do it by yourself as long as you can find such kind of wood material. Assume you have gotten such wood bead. Now follow the steps:

1. Start by cutting 18inch of cotton cord. Loop one end of the cord around your bone ring and knot it twice.

2. String beads in the following pattern:

a. olive wood bead (tuck the excess cord from your knot into the bead hole, and trim cord so it not sticking out the other end of the bead)
b. BeadAligner (push the peg of the BeadAligner into the olive wood bead; make sure the olive wood bead is tight against the cord knot)
c. black horn bead, BeadAligner, olive wood bead, BeadAligner, black horn bead d. green/purple coin bead, black horn bead, BeadAligner, olive wood bead, BeadAligner, black horn bead
e. tan/multicolor coin bead, black horn bead, BeadAligner, olive wood bead, BeadAligner, black horn bead
f. beige/black coin bead, black horn bead, BeadAligner, olive wood bead, BeadAligner, black horn bead
g. green/purple coin bead (this will be the symmetrical center of the piece)
h. mirror the pattern done thus far; in other words, follow steps g. through a. in reverse (see image for help).

3. To finish, pull the end of the cord through the hole in the center of your bone feather, and knot it twice. Tuck any excess cord into the last wood bead on your piece; glue in place if desired.
